If you are thinking about branding your new law firm or rebranding your existing law firm then we can help.  An important consideration is understanding what how your branding actually helps your business:

- Your branding is the 'personality' of your firm: it represents the way your firm is perceived.  It is one of few aspects of your marketing which is "about you" (ideally most of the rest of your advertising and marketing should be about client needs) - but even then it can work best when it encompasses a client appeal.  This is why branding that is professional, for example, is important.  Of course, if you are pursuing a particular market positioning strategy then you might like your branding to fit in with it.  For example, family law might be a lot softer, commercial law more business-like.

- It's not the end of the world to be 'neutral': branding is important, but it's no necessarily a problem to be neutral if you offer a wide range of legal services.  The vital thing is that your branding at least isn't actively bad.  There are practical considerations to branding too.  On top of short and medium term marketing goals, you want the branding to be as long-lasting as possible.  Great branding lasts for decades.  Beware anything that is too fashionable, fashions change quickly, and rebranding your firm when it isn't necessary can be expensive.
